Arboreal tarantulas are usually more entertaining to handle than terrestrial. Arboreals (and "semi-arboreals" like Pterinochilus murinus OBTs) seem much more inclined to take flying leaps... *especially* as youngsters!
This spider jumped off my hand and onto one of my bug racks. I actually found it fairly quickly after i stopped shooting... but was too chicken to vid the capture as i was afraid the sling would get even more escaped =P
iirc, i was thinking about trying to film it then decided having to explain about *another* escaped bug to my room mates would be unpleasant enough... but having to explain about a somewhat nasty one just would be too much... so i caught it instead of filming it
