hi im a collector/ taxidermist from south wales. i started buying stuffed dead insects from abroad but found the quality lacking. so i bought a dead tarantula from malaysia which was flat the wrong colour and dried out (excessively). so i bought a live tarantula to stuff but fell in love with its habits/ behaviour. i will stuff them one day but not till they die of natural causes. ive been collecting/ breeding for some years now and am developing some success.

my collection consists of the following insects.
tarantulae.

orchids, medical instrument collecting, art- i paint, sculpt ect. i also collect art. i love my xbox 360. i suppose i have many hobbies but much of my time is spent careing for my many pets. i have converted my room into insect heaven. i love converting every day items for my insects, in particular using geodes for spider housing, they love em!

despite being seriously arachnophobic i think my tarantula's are fascinating. i often watch them more than my telly. i vow to one day handle my chilean rose, this is my dilemma. i need someone with a similar interest to monitor this first pick up. what freaks me out is that after it goes past your elbow its impossible to retrieve? so i need someone there to get it off my back, face, head, wherever it goes other than my arm uuurch! id probably jump up running around screaming like a girl? no good for the preservation of my pets...

im currently growing mostly slings so breeding cant start until sex determination and partner sourcing can start.

i trained as an arist which lends itself to customising my many encosures ect.
im dabbling in taxidermy right now so if anyone has any unfortunate losses, profit from your loss and ill pay for the specimen. all i ask is that you keep it in the freezer until ready to send. i also stuff/ frame and mount for clients at reasonable rates. insects are my speciality but will do reptiles ect. message me for enqiries. i pride myself on quality, and this doesn't come cheap. i use the best materials and always try to improve my workmanship.

sci-fi, anime and easy litening music. florence and the machine (lungs) my fav at the moment.

ive never handled any of my tarantula's or scorpions. their enclosures are all about security. escapes will not be tolerated. all enclosures have a feeding hole (bottle top glued in) reduces escapes considerably.
notes are the key to my success. i diligently note any changes to behaviour and especially shed periods, size ect. i can acurately predict to within a few days when a shed should occur. so humidity can be checked prior to a shed to maintain optimum levels. trust me people notes help...
