I went to my LPS to get a random thick tail scorp, (another I.D. post) that my girlfriend told me about. while i was there the owner showed me this huge centipede that he used in a halloween display. Dude whips out the biggest pede i have ever seen! this joker measured 9 inches BL wrapped around the bottom of a 32 oz deli cup. given a margin of error I still think this beast is 8 to 8.5 inches BL easy. these pics make it look small but it is far bigger than the red leg S. subspinipes in my gallery and that guy was 5.5-6 inches BL. this yellow leg is super fat and is ready for a molt or is holding eggs.
