I know that butter worms eat the wood of the Trevo tree. Does anyone know if there are stores in the U.S. that provide the trevo tree or raw trevo wood? Thanks

I've seen sites saying they eat green leaves. If you look at the caterpillars you'll notice they don't eat leaves, they're built like a grain moth caterpillar and wouldn't be caught dead on top of a plant, nor could they physically accomplish such a feat. They'll eat dog food and various grains but getting them to maturity is another question. However, if they do eat rotten wood most hardwoods would probably suffice with the level of decay being the more important aspect.
