I live in Austin, TX with my wife and two kids. I have always loved all sorts of critters and have kept pets, even inverts, ever since I was as child. I was an Air Force brat so got to live in a lot of places and catch and keep lots of different bugs as pets. Lucky for me my parents were very tolerant and nurtured my interest in insects as appose to squashing it. My wife is accepting and patient when it comes to bugs. If it were up to her we would have no pets, the kids and I love them so she puts up with it, as long as I don't go off on a tangent and start talking about one of my critters for too long.
In addition to the insect and arachnid pets we also have a couple crayfish, a Whites Tree frog, Two albino clawed frogs, Several Crested Geckos ( I breed them) a few Gargoyle Geckos, and a Halmehera Gecko.

If its a critter I can certainly find something interesting about it.
