I have a mission for one of you, to video tape a Polistes annularis paper wasp. I have not seen one for a few years, but they like a swampy area with alots of water and rotting fruit. Once you video tape this wasp for me, please put it on youtube. Here is what it looks like:

09/20/2008 18:09:23 The abdomen of this species is always brown? Because where I live there are always ones that looks like that, not sure if they are polistes canadensis (the abdomen is red like the upper body)
