Hey, everybody! wanted to give ya'll a few updates as to how college is going! First off, I'm loving it. I'm having so much fun! There's always something to do! My entomology classes are epic! I'm the only undergrad in my Medical Entomology class, and I'm just a freshman! But I think I'm holding my own amongst my friends. :D My new tarantula came in the other day, and she's a beauty! Operation wasp nest rescue!

There's a small Polistes exclamans nest built in a very dangerous place. Right over the walkway at our school. Tomorrow, I'm going to get to school early, and rescue it. If I don't, I know that it will be destroyed. No wasp deserves to be destroyed just because they decide to build a home near humans! I'm going to take a small Kritter Keeper and save some lives! Grass in Your Window Tracks? Mystery Solved!

Some homeowners in the U.S. and Canada, upon sliding open their windows, have been startled to discover the tracks filled with dry grass, dead insects, and live “worms.”  Even the odd wasp has flown out.  What is going on here?

ive had my "Life under a rock" gallery on another (pop scene) site for some years now so you may have seen these photos
i just thought people that havent followed obscure links and sifted through all the galleries might enjoy them

reminds me of a bulldog with a spiked collar
