How do you show your obsession?

Hey, everyone! I was just wondering how everybody shows your obsession with your Tarantulas or other spiders. I have photo albums made for mine, of pictures that I've taken for as long as I've had them. I also have my spiders set as my background on my phone, as well as in the pictures section on my phone. Hey, everybody! wanted to give ya'll a few updates as to how college is going! First off, I'm loving it. I'm having so much fun! There's always something to do! My entomology classes are epic! I'm the only undergrad in my Medical Entomology class, and I'm just a freshman! But I think I'm holding my own amongst my friends. :D My new tarantula came in the other day, and she's a beauty! New Animal Update

It's been awhile since I've been on the site. I need to hang here a little bit more than I do. This week has been good. Got all the new animals housed at least for now, I want to give the Desert Hairy's a new tank. Would love for the new to be a male. Everyone has a great feeding reponse. I went to the pet store that I get my crickets hoping to get both crickets and fruit flies, but they were out of fruit flies. Luckily the small crickets were just the right size. I got an email notification from KenTheBugGuy today. I had hoped that it would say "Mailing you tarantula tomorrow" but it didn't. It's too dang hot to mail the little angel, so he may mail it next week. There's the problem. If he mails it next week, It should arrive on the 11th... the day I move into my dorm room. This is just great... crud. I do have to admire Ken, though. He's professional enough not to mail the tarantula in this heat.... Read More

Updates!

Well, I just thought that I'd give an update on my Tarantulas and myself. Here goes! Catastrophe is doing fine, I think she may be in premolt. She's showing some pink on her usualy black abdomen, and it isn't a bald spot... yay. She's been eating regularly except she refused food yesterday. So maybe she is about to molt! Calamity is a shrew. She sit's in her tank and eats. She still lets me hold her everyday, but has found that my arm is more comfy than my hand... oh well, that's life! lol. Sh... Read More
