I lost one of my 3 A. gigas millipedes a few weeks ago but I still have a mated pair. Saturday my girlfriend and I went to Repticon in Atlanta. I scored a couple of new things, the most random being a 1/4" Anphonopelma chalcodes I got because the vendor didnt have a $5 bill for change on some scorps i bought. recieved new specimens for my continuing breeding project. m+f damon variegatus, m+f minbosus sp and m+f pamphoboetus vespertinius.... its been the time of love in my collection now with 12 females gravid, 6 recently bread and another 3 to couple. ive also got thousands of spiderlings (pterinochilus murinus+ avicularia versicolour) and 82 scorplings (heterometrus madraspatensis+ hadogens paudicens). ive started purchasing thousands of tubs, deli pots, sweet jars, plastic jars, glass jars any tr... It's been awhile since I've been on the site. I need to hang here a little bit more than I do. This week has been good. Got all the new animals housed at least for now, I want to give the Desert Hairy's a new tank. Would love for the new to be a male. Everyone has a great feeding reponse. in the past 2 weeks ive had several scorpion moms pop. some i knew were gravid others were a bit of a suprise.one gravid V. caralinianus had hers first. i knew she was gravid and was expecting her to pop, she had 24 scorplings. a few days later i traded for 3 C. vittatus, one showed up with 26 scorplings and one of the others had a brood 2 days after arriving. the last C. vittatus i believe is also gravid. lastly my B. jacksoni had a brood the other night. she was gravid when i bought her at...
