Araneus Thaddeus

I just caught this Araneus Thaddeus while cleaning my front porch. Super excited to note the differences between her and my other spider Orbit the Araneus Diadematus. Not sure what I will name her yet. but shes super cute acting a bit scared right now but so did Orbit until she got settled in and realised I put food for her into a really small space making it impossible for her not to eat hahaha. Orbit my Araneus Diadematus

I caught my Araneus Diadematus spider that my mother named Orbit yesterday on August 14th 2011. Very happy with her so far. She enjoys ants and doesnt seem to have a desire to leave. I'm pretty sure shes pregnant so im gonna let her go if her abdomen grows larger showing shes going to lay eggs soon...

Thinking about changing my mind wether or not to keep her pregnant or not. August 15th 2011 2:34 AM
