Well, I discovered my B. smithi is a male today after it moulted. Not something I was hoping for at all. I guess on the bright side, I've had almost seven great years with him in my care, but still. I looked in on Calamity last night, and she was using her back legs to rub her abdomen. I've seen some tarantulas do this pre-molt, but when I woke up this morning, nothing. She hadn't molted at all. She seems fine though, and I may try to feed her later. Any ideas what may have caused her behavior?... Read More
