Overwintering/Hibernating Inverts?

Has anyone ever had any experience with hibernating inverts? I was just looking under some rocks today, since a lot of snow has melted, and I found hibernating beetles, some kind of sucking bug, several centipedes, and even some beetle grubs I don't know. Stupid stag beetles

I am starting to get really frustrated finding live stag Beetles for sale...I am trying to find at least three kinds to breed...but they are just about nowhere. I am getting one species, Dorcus Titanus Castanicolor, that is awesome for me. I am hoping for a male and a female! Now I need two more species...please tell me if you have any available!!!

Darn beetles and their ability to fly.

I found an amazing bettle today, small and blue, with an 'oil-on-water' look to it.

I decided to snap a pic, so I took the blade of grass it was on, walked to the sunlight to get good lighting, turned on my camera, put it in manual focus, got it all zoomed in, perfectly alinged...... and the darn beetle chose that moment to fly off. I got a nice picture of a blade of grass.
