I am a teacher, naturalis, and outdoorsman. I love camping, fishing and 'messing about in boats'. I raise tropical and native fish, amphibians, and roaches (not free range types!)I have always had a few insects around for my classes: local tarantulas, beetles, rollie pollies, mantids and walking sticks.

I now find myself in possesion of a growing group of insects and invertebrates.

I use insects in teaching basic ecological concepts in the classroom and the field.
