I've been keeping snakes and tarantulas for over half my life, and as the years have gone by, I've been discovering more and more how little I really know about them. I got into keeping emperor and red claw scorpions about seven years ago and I love'em too. Then over the past three years I've taken a strong interest in other things like centipedes, tailless whip scorpions, snapping turtles, and salamanders.

Invertebrates are some of the most fascinating creatures on the planet. The only animals that peak my fascination more than them are snakes. I feel like I have to surround myself with the animals that most people would consider lowly. There's nothing low about them at all though.

What my girlfriend see's in a guy like me, I don't know, but I'm grateful for her and the kids. And I'm eternally grateful to the creatures that fill my life with wonder, excitement, and sometimes even a little bit of good old fear.

I'm most interested in centipedes, but have been keeping some new world tarantulas for a long time and am interested in other arachnids. I find insects fascinating. Especially mantids, beetles, and stick insects.

I'm also into herpetoculture, and field herping.

Current: (Alipes grandidieri, Scolopendra heros castaneiceps, Pandinus imperator, Grammostola rosea, Gromphadorhina portentosa, Blaptica dubia)

Former: (Scolopendra subspinipes de hanni, Lasiodora parahybana, Damon diadema, Scolopendra polymorpha, Theraphosa blondi, Pandinus cavimanus)

I'm not working on anything as of yet, but would like to breed (Damon diadema) someday, and may attempt soon to breed centipedes.

(**Scolopendra gigantea**, Scolopendra subspinipes de hanni, Ethmostigmus trigonopodus, Grammostola pulchra, Scolopendra morsitans, Damon diadema, Theraphosa blondi, and Mastigoproctus giganteus) but I'm limited on space and finances right now so I can't.

Student: Undergraduate in Zoology and Philosophy.
I have a job as a lab assistant in aquaculture, and also work evenings for a soda company.

I enjoy a lot of movies, especially horror, sci-fi, action, and comedy. I mainly listen to metal. Some of my favorite bands are Cannibal Corpse, Nile, Sepultura, Napalm Death, Exhumed, Hypocrisy, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, The Sword, Morbid Angel, Job for a Cowboy, Lamb of God, Fleshcrawl, Paths of Possession, Fleshgrind, County Medical Examiners, Slayer, Obituary, Vader....
