hey man...u comin to 'T time' tuesday nights? 7-8 pacific time...

wer just gonna shoot the sh*t bout Ts and scorps...

be nice if u stopped by, even if just for a few mins...i know ud have some fun topics.

wer tryin to keep IG from dying. i messaged well over 100 people who hadnt been to IG in more than 4 months...iv gotten 5 different messages of people saying something like "oops, forhot about IG"...i dont want that to happen!!-its so much more personal here than arachnoboards(not that i dont spend my fair share of time there)

iv gotten at least 5 people since yesterday saying theyl be there, and another 10 say theyr not...idk?...im hoping its not gonna be a flop. either way, wer gona attempt to do it every tuesday, so if u cant make it this tuesday, concider the next week after...

thanx either way

PEACE

Mike, I hope you're having a good day and feeling better. If not, I hope you feel better, soon.

I've created a rather nice organized species gallery on SFBATS, and I've been adding photos and species as submissions come in. I'd love to see some of your photos in there. Check out what we have so far, and submit any pics you'd like in our submission thread in the 'Tarantula Pictures' forum Sticky for gallery submissions. It will be rather nice once we building it. Check it out! Hope to use some of your stuff to help fill our gallery!

Edgar

they like humidity, come from more tropical areas. lower 80s day low 70s night. if you can even get them to sting it would be more then likely not much to speak of, ive messed with these a few times and never got them to sting. 1.5" is about avarage size for them, good luck with the babies

V.confusus stings hurt me for 5-15 min, i wouldnt say its quite as painful as a bee sting but different people react differently. ive never experianced any real noticable swelling but sometimes my finger would feel a little stiff the next day

thanx

Thanks for the Tarantula info.Seeing tarantulas in groups was not as rare 20 years ago.  Soon I will see many of them on old highway 78 between Brawley Ca. and Cibola wildlife refuge. Not in groups but walking in the highway. We will catch them and move them back up into the hills except for a few that some of my friends from this site wanted.

Hey Miketroll, thanks for the comment on the amazonica.  Just molted last night -- still in hiding, but can't wait to see the new and improved T!

BTW, you mentioned in an earlier comment on the regalis that you power-fed the female.  I do too, just wondering what your method is?

Thanks!  Michael

hey if you really like those Flatties im trying to breed they are a part of Ken the Bug Guys stock and for sale, i just hate seeing mature males sit around when there is a female around to try and feed him to

i am very interested in them...& i think its bout time 4 my next order-il have 2 give ken a call...  u feed em small criks? is it worth its size for what they cost?...& have u ever breed them before?

no idea what he has them priced at so cant say if its worth the money.

ive never bred them before let alone seen a Flattie till Ken got them. i found what was left of the male this morning so dunno if they did the deed or not but she wasnt hungry from what i can tell and had food available. yes small crickets is what they were eating

il probably get myself one...idk?......so uv got a pretty sweet deal, huh?
